Before we had our first baby, if someone would have told me that babies have personalities, I would have said all babies are the same and it's the parents who help to create a babies personality. However! 9 months in to our 1st baby and I've realised that's not true. Because it took us 7 months to move house, this meant that we never built a nursery while we were pregnant and so this was something that needed to be done once our little one was 6 months old. Given that our little Peaches personality started to shine through at this point and we realised we'd produced a cheeky, sociable, adventurous little monkey, it no longer seemed fitting to create a baby nursery full of ideas that we'd previously pinned to our Pinterest boards, showcasing serene colours with lots of neutral interiors, we suddenly felt the need to create a vibrant, fun environment that would keep her entertained for hours! Fast forward to 9 months and here we are - at the start of our journey to creating a new haven for our little one. We find, it's always important to pick your colour scheme first - but it's worth finding an item that you love, to help inspire you with ideas. That's why we chose Farrow and Ball's Sulking Room Pink to go with Avery Row's 'Peaches' bedding (maybe we were also inspired by the name given we nicknamed our little one 'peaches'. We're still in painting stage at the minute, but we'll keep you posted with the journey.
